Spring has finally arrived!

Almost daily - there is a game of b-ball going on. 

Here is a pic from my room (in the Marriott) in Tucson, Az., last weekend.  I was able to spend a couple of hours w/my aunt and uncle, and several cousins, who live there.  This is my aunt Barb(one of my Dad's sisters) and her husband.  The guy in the middle of the back row - is actually the son of one of Dad's brothers.  He is a pastor there in Tucson.  I received a shortened version of the current tourist attractions, economic status, visited the "'A' Mountain", and the Air Force Graveyard.  Never realized that there was Air Force there in Tucson.  I also had a chance to walk around University of A. .  Very nice this time of year.

It is time for a major combing...

This was thursday evening  -  after Victor had a run in w/the pole at school.  The area that is discolored was as large as half a baseball.  With much icing - it had drastically decreased in size.  Poor guy - this happened thursday afternoon, he had so much pain, but had to study for 4 tests he had on Friday.  We have results of 2 of the 4 back - he had 100%.  Waiting on the results for the other 2.  (This was w/being woke up every couple hours thurs night.)

Last evening he was hurting again  - but we think part of the discomfort was just tiredness.  Today-doing better.

When I returned on Monday evening from Arizona - I had roses from my men!  

March 31st 2011 - The Stomp Musical "Joseph"

This was such fun - the place was packed out - standing room!  Once we receive the video we will share - but here are a few pictures .....

This was the 4th and 5th grade spring musical.  This is Lilly Kruse and Victor - they had the lead parts. 

Victor was Joseph

The girl on the right - is Aubry (Nate and Stacy's daughter - she is in 4th grade)

This girl is Ellie - she is the one who gives Joseph (Victor ) his coat.

These 3 were 3 of Joseph's brothers.

This guy w/Victor is actually his science teacher.  He played the part of the auctioneer - trying to auction off Joseph.

This was a stomp musical - so here were some of the dancers w/their brooms.

This kid was taught how to break dance for this play by one of RJ's buddies (who happens to be a competitive dancer in this state).

This kid represents Joseph's father.  (This is Zek - last year when you both were here - Zek came over to the house).

Doris and Dale were sitting just off stage - Victor took a peak and smiled at them here.

This is Monica Witmer (Fred Witmer - from the bible college - is her husband;  Jim and Dawn will know her).  She is the music director for the elementary group - and did a fantastic job at directing the kids.

Here Victor and Lilly are presenting to Monica flowers and thanks for all she did w/the musical - this was at the end of the play.
